Half-termly Update from the Head
~ By Mr. Bindon (Head Teacher)
In this term’s website update, I wanted to begin by welcoming back our pupils and staff onto bases from the 8th March. Since the lockdown was announced, we have been working hard to provide a continuity of learning for our pupils, and a safe work environment for everyone who have been coming onto our sites.
Our priority coming back, is to continue the focus on our high standards of sanitising, cleaning and safe working practices.
Although nationally there has been a decline in cases, now is not the time for us to ease off the measures we have been using so stringently.
In the recent letter that has been sent to parents, we highlighted the testing available to pupils over the first two weeks of their return. We hope that as many pupils as possible take up the support from our staff to conduct their first tests on site. This will allow pupils to have the guidance of trained testers for the first round of administering before families test at home.
If you have any questions about your child’s return to school please contact us and we will endeavour to help.
We can’t wait for our young people to be back and start getting back into a routine as soon as possible.
Thank as always for your support.
